  • Kieren is still getting back into training after a long break from swimming after the Olympics. He skips the Pan Pacs to get married.

  • Chosen to carry the Australian flag at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games. (Kieren was very surprised to be given the honour, when he was called to be told the news he couldn't understand why and thought he was getting into trouble!)
